Maria has been a dedicated practitioner at one | o | one since 2010. She quickly discovered yoga's power to transform, integrate mind-body-spirit, and foster compassion and community. She completed teacher training in 2018. An artist, musician and scholar, Maria passionately pursues the integration of movement with sound, art and poetry to facilitate healing and transformation.
"Finding yoga in my mid-50s has been one of my greatest joys! Yoga, for me, means profound connection. It activates the part of us which is pure, whole and loving. Yoga is a laundering process-- wringing out the negative and allowing the bright, human spirit to shine."
Donna came to one | o | one in 2014. She completed 200 hr training at White Lotus Foundation with renowned teachers Ganga White and Tracey Rich.
I began practicing in 2006-- a Hot Power class at one | o | one! I immediately fell in love-- both with the physical practice and the mindfulness that it demanded. Leaving class, I realized I had thought of nothing else for 90 minutes-- one of yoga's many gifts! In 2009 I completed teacher training, followed by additional trainings such as with Tias Little, and with cancer survivors at Balance Your Body Yoga in Houston. I Live in Carbondale with my husband. We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. I love sharing the many gifts of yoga with all ages!
